METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SWITCHING ROVING BOBBINS IN A SPINNING FRAME

The roving bobbins are arranged as front and rear rows on bobbin hangers, which are switchable as to their location in one row or the other by a travelling unit having cam-controlled pair of bobbin hanger grippers. The grippers engage the respective hangers of two front row and rear row bobbins, and rotationally interchange their positions from one row to the other.
