PURPOSE:To improve freedom in designing a monolithic foam-molded product by enabling adoption of even a cloth material inferior in expansibility, by covering the skin manufactured separately from a foamed material over one side of a semiproduct of the foamed material. CONSTITUTION:A head rest body 12 is an annular monolithic foam-molded product displaying a rectangular framelike form the central part of which is provided with a space 16. The molded product is formed by a method wherein a pair of semiproducts 20, 22 of a foamed material in a form obtained by dividing the molded product into a longitudinal direction at the parting face 18 are joined unitarily at the parting face 18. Semiproducts 20, 22 of the foamed materials are constituted of the foamed materials 24, 26 giving forms of these semiproducts 20, 22 of the foamed materials and the skins 28, 30 coated over the surfaces corresponding to the outer surface of a head rest body 12 of these foamed materials 24, 26. Annular recessions 32, 34 are formed respectively on the foamed materials 24, 26 each in a state that annular recessions 32, 34 are opened into a parting face 18. Then recessions 32, 34 are joined unitarily by filling the space 16 formed through butting of each of the recessions 32, 34 with a predetermined foamed material 40. |
