PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material which has improved coloring property and raw shelf stability, and contains a pyrazolotriazole type magenta coupler by incorporating at least one kind of specific magenta couplers to at least one layer of silver halide emulsion layers. CONSTITUTION:In the titled material comprising at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layers mounted on a substrate body, at least one kind of the magenta couplers shown by formula I is incorporated to at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layers. In formula I, R1 is a branched alkyl group, R2 is each hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkylthio, alkylamino, arylamino, acylamino, alkoxy or a heteroring group, Z is hydrogen atom or a group capable of releasing by coupling with the oxidant of a color developing agent, (n) is 1 or 2.
