PURPOSE:To simply draw out a film from a spool without applying unnatural force to the film when the film is to be taken out on the way of use by forming a spool rotation allowing mechanism for allowing the spool to rotate in a film rewinding direction when a back cover is opened. CONSTITUTION:The spool rotation allowing mechanism SR for allowing the film winding spool 4 to rotate in the film rewinding direction when the back cover 9 is opened is provided. Then the back cover 9 is opened, a spool board 7 is restored to a film winding position, but the bending part 8b of a locking tool 8 is not abutted upon the back cover 9 and the exciting force of the locking tool 8 is not applied to the projection 7a of the spool board 7. Thereby force larger than the exciting force of a spring 10 is applied to the spool board 7 and the board 7 is kept at a freely rotatable state. Consequently, the film can be drawn out from the camera without executing specific operation only by opening the back cover 9 and drawing out the film.
