PURPOSE:To form an electric charge imparting material having excellent durability by incorporating a specific compd. into the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:This charge imparting material has the compd. expressed by formula I at least on the surface. The representative example of the compd. to be used includes the compd. expressed by formula I-1. In formula I, R denotes an organo group, M denotes metal, l denotes a natural number and m denotes the natural number to indicate the valency of the metal, where m-l=2. The compd. expressed by formula I has a strong charge imparting property, is stable with heat and time, has lower hygroscopicity and has the excellent properties as the charge imparting material for toners. The difference in the electronegativity between M and O is preferably >=1.5. |
