PURPOSE:To manufacture easily a monolithic foam-molded product which is superior in a fine view and high class feeling, by a method wherein the outer surface of a foam-molded product is constituted of the skin or a leathery surface layer part at every divisional foamed material part. CONSTITUTION:A head rest body 10 is a monolithic foam-molded product in a rectangular and blocklike state, whose inside is provided with a hollow space 14, and the molded product is constituted of a pair of divisional foam-molded material parts 18, 20 in a form obtained by dividing the molded product into two in a longitudinal direction at a parting face 16. They are assembled unitarily at the parting face 16. Then the divisional foamed material parts 18, 20 are provided respectively with the skins 22, 24 on the surfaces corresponding to the outer surface of the molded product (the head rest body 10). Then divisional materials 26, 28 of a core body made of synthetic resin are provided on the surface corresponding to the space 14. The title molded product possesses structure where those skins 22, 24 and divisional materials 26, 28 of the core body are joined unitarily at foamed layers 30, 32 of predetermined thickness. On the one hand, the divisional materials 26, 28 of the core body are provided with each of a plurality of connecting parts and connecting claws which are positioned at positions corresponding to each of the parting faces and connectable with each other. |
