PURPOSE:To attain rotation processing only by addition and subtraction and to prevent a missing of an image by updating one coordinate, writing the updated coordinate on a base picture, updating the other coordinate, and then writing the other updated coordinate in the base picture. CONSTITUTION:An image rotating processing part 3 connected to a data bus 8 consists of a rotation control part 3a, a timing generating part 3c for generating X-direction coordinate updating timing, a timing generating part 3c for generating Y direction coordinate updating timing, and a bit setting/resetting circuit 3d. The image rotating processing part 3 updates either one of X and Y coordinates, writes the updated coordinate on the base picture, updates the other coordinate and then writes the other updated coordinate on the base picture. |
