PURPOSE:To efficiently load an initial program to an application by setting a selection switch to a specific state and performing the OS selection by a key input. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is applied or a CPU1 is reset, IPL and OS information in a hard disk is initially loaded in the area 5a in a RAM5 by a boot strap stored in a ROM. The CPU1, when the IPL is loaded, performs a processing based on this IPL. Namely, the switch input of the selection switch 6 is read through an interface 11 and decides the switch input. When the switch input is '000', the OS information is displayed on a CRT display 13 to bring the key input into a standby state and when the switch input is that except '000', the corresponding OS is loaded to the area 5b of the RAM5. Under the key input standby state, the OS can be loaded by the key input. |
