发明名称 IMAGE RECEIVING MATERIAL FOR THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING
摘要 PURPOSE:To achieve high density recording and to improve the light fastness and fixing property of recorded matter, by providing an image receiving layer based on a polyester resin and a vinyl chloride resin to the surface of a substrate. CONSTITUTION:Both of MW of a polyester resin and that of a vinyl chloride resin are desirably 5,000 or more. When the glass transition temp. of the polyester resin is high, the light fastness of recorded matter becomes markedly lower and, when low, the fixing property of the recorded matter becomes markedly low and said glass transition temp. is pref. 20-60 deg.C. The glass transition temp. of the vinyl chloride resin is properly 60-80 deg.C because the fixing property of the recorded matter is lowered when low and the recording density thereof becomes low when high. The proper ratio of the vinyl chloride resin to the polyester resin is 90-25%. An image receiving layer is formed, for example, by a method wherein the polyester resin and the vinyl chloride resin are dissolved in a proper solvent and a proper release agent is added thereto to prepare a coating solution which is then applied to a substrate and dried.
