PURPOSE:To miniaturize the titled set by using an operation key controlling the recording means of an automatic reply set in common with the push button of a telephone set. CONSTITUTION:With the mode switch MS of an automatic reply equipment TAM thrown to the position of the automatic reply, a call signal from an opposite party is detected by a bell incoming call detection circuit 1. A control section 2 uses a transistor (TR) Q and a relay RL to close the equipment TAM. The control section 2 switches changeover switches SW1-SW4 to the position of contact (a) and reproduces/outputs a reply tape OGM. Then the control section 2 switches the changeover switches SW1-SW4 to the position of contact (b) and controls a reception tape ICM into the recording enable state. In changing over a switch MS into the position of a reply message, the control section 2 sets the reply message into the recording enable state. Then a dial key DK '7' is set to the message recording. In depressing the dial key DK '7', the control section 2 brings a tape OGM into the recording enable state, switches the switches W1, SW4 to the position of the contact (a) and the switches SW2, SW3 into the contACT (b). In changing over the switch MS to the position of the message reception, the control section 2 sets the reception tape into the controllable state. In selecting the DK keys as [*] for the review key REV, [0] for the reproduction/stop key and [#] for the queue key CUE and depressing them, the control section 2 sets them into the operating state respectively.
