PURPOSE:To determine an element corresponding to a peak simply, by arranging a wavelength scan type spectroscope and a device for recording a detection signal of a radiation spectrally analyzed on a recording paper to make a wavelength scan rate of the spectroscope synchronize a recording paper feed rate of the recorder. CONSTITUTION:A drive pulse signal for driving a pulse motor containing a spectroscope driver 4 for scanning wavelength with a spectroscope 1 and a driving signal for driving a pulse motor containing a record driver 5 for feeding paper of a recorder 3 are generated synchronously with a drive controller 6 to interlock the spectroscope 1 with a paper feeding of the recorder 3. A wavelength scan driving speed of the spectroscope 1 is set to match a proper integration time. A drive pulse signal is generated with the drive controller 6 corresponding to the wavelength scan driving rate. The synchronization of the pulses permits the driving for feeding paper of the recorder 3 by the same drive pulse signal to make the wavelength driving of the spectroscope 1 coincide with the paper feeding of the recorder 3 in the rate thereby facilitating the judgement of an element corresponding to a peak.
