<p>PURPOSE:To suppress an error in conversion to a minimum and to reduce cost by inputting plural intermediate electrodes on a coordinate input sheet and selecting the intermediate electrode the nearest to an input point as the take-out point for a partial potential. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate input device is constituted of coordinate input sheets 10A, 10B for detecting an X, Y coordinate position forming a surface resistance 4 formed on a sheet surface between opposite electrodes 2, 3 and an information processing circuit part 12 for impressing voltages 5A, 5B and taking out the position information of the X, Y coordinate of the input point through a pen input contact. At this time, plural intermediate electrodes 11a-11e parallel to said electrodes 2, 3 are disposed on the sheet surface of the surface resistance 4 part of the input sheets 10A, 10B. The information processing circuit part 12 is provided with an A/D converter 8 and a CPU13 and the electrodes 2-3, 11a-11e the nearest to the input point are selected to the take-out point of a partial potential. Then, when the input point is applied to the input sheets 10A, 10B, the X, Y coordinate position can be obtained in said circuit 12 as the position information of the respective input points.</p> |
