PURPOSE:To imprint an optional segment at an optional position by a color different from a copying image by executing the copying operation of an original image and copying operation based on a specific instructing means, a storing means, a control, and an output means by different developing devices respectively through the developing devices and a switching means. CONSTITUTION:Since a moving optical system unit 45 is automatically returned to an optical system reference position at the end of the 1st exposure scanning, the 2nd copying is started from the optical system reference position. A member 29 fitted to the unit 45 is detected by a picture head detecting sensor 30 and an erasor lamp 307 is lighted for a previously fixed period to erase the potential of the 1st latent image and an unnecessary area and obtain the 2nd latent image. The 2nd latent image is visualized by switching a developing device to a previously determined red developing device (color developing device) by a switching means and a resist roller 28 is driven to carry the vidualized image to a photosensitive drum 1 with an accurate timing, so that the leasing end of the latent image can be made to coincide with the leading end of transfer paper. |
