PURPOSE:To reduce a mounting space and an overall size and making weighing units out of the way when weighing hoppers are cleaned by constructing a balance such that the weighing units are located inside the weighing hoppers. CONSTITUTION:An annularly formed accommodating portion 26 is arranged in a recessed portion 12. Three legs 28 are projected from the lower surface of the accommodating portion 26 toward a base 2 as arranged between adjacent legs 6 and at angular spaces of 120 deg. to be fixed to the base 2. Load cells 29 are provided in the accommodating portion 26 as weighing units so as to be opposed to weighing hoppers 20 and connected to the corresponding weighing hoppers 20. The weighing hoppers 20 are supplied from upper supply hoppers 18 with articles, which are weighed by the load cells 29 and collected by a collecting chute 30. This construction enables a space and an overall size to be reduced and the cleaning of the supply hoppers to be facilitated.
