PURPOSE:To simplify the attaching process of an electrostatic shield, by forming a space to arrange the electrostatic shield at the upper and the lower ends on the neutral point side of a winding, and arranging the electrostatic shield therein. CONSTITUTION:The width of an insulating sheet 3a which is a part of insulating sheets 3 forming a high tension winding 5 and wound on a neutral point side is made narrower than that of an insulating sheet 3b wound at the high tension line and side. A metal sheet 2 is wound between them. Letting the lengths from the end of the metal sheet 2 to the ends of the insulating sheets 3 a and 3b be L1 and L2 respectively, these sheets are constituted as L1<L2. An electrostatic shield 21 is arranged in a space 20 formed with the insulating sheet 3a whose width is made narrow at the upper and the lower ends of the insulating sheet. The shield 21 is fixed with the end part of the sheet 3a and a supporting insulation material 11.
