PURPOSE:To improve the drying efficiency by absorbing the energy from a first energy supply means by a second energy supply means and supplying the energy from the second energy supply means to a photographic recording body to dry it. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive material 4 is carried to a processing part 2 and is processed in a developing tank 5, a bleach-fixing tank 6, and a water washing tank 7 to develop a latent image. Next, the photosensitive material 4 is sent to a drying part 3. The first energy supply means 8 consists of a heating body, and the energy generated by such means 8 is propagated directly or through a space and is absorbed by the second energy supply means 9. The second energy supply means 9 consists of a duct which absorbs heat. The radiation heat or the hot blast from the duct of the second energy supply means 9 is supplied to the photosensitive material 4 to dry it. Since the energy generated by a heat source is absorbed by the second energy supply means 9 and the energy from this means 9 is supplied to the photographic recording body to dry it, the heat efficiency is improved to shorten the drying time.
