PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of noise by jointing same level of over lapped parts as to compressed sound signals recorded to a compressed audio signal part so as to form a consecutive signal. CONSTITUTION:A compressed sound signal is reproduced and stored in a memory 138, the position of a flag in the memory 138 by a flat position detection circuit 170 to calculate address data A, B, C, D... and output data A, B, C, D... to an address memory 172. On the other hand, when the data and the input to a zero cross point detection circuit 176 change from a positive to a negative level in the memory 172 and the circuit 176 detect that the input changes from positive to negative, the memory 172 outputs a detection signal. In such case, a value I of the address designation signal is stored in the memory 172. In reading the data in the memory 138, the data I is made consecutive next to the data A, B...H. Since the level of the joints is zero, and the joints are consecutive.
