PURPOSE:To control the quantity of step more detailed than in the ordinary exciting method, by drawing a lead-out line from the midpoint of each field winding and providing the second drive circuit thereto. CONSTITUTION:Based on the control signal from a control circuit 23, the fifth and the tenth transistors Q5 and Q10 are held in OFF condition, and by ON-OFF controlling the first to the fourth transistors Q1-Q4 and the sixth to the ninth transistors Q6-Q9, the well-known 1.2phase excitation or 2.2-phase excitation is performed. Based on the control signal from the control circuit 23, by ON- OFF controlling each transistor Q1-Q10 12-many exciting condition is formed to each salient pole 14a-14c in an exciting cycle to make a full rotation of a rotor 12. |
