PURPOSE:To emit a powerful light to cure a resin by arranging an infrared ray absorber in the incidence end side of a bundle fiber and transmitting the light from a light source to the bundle fiber through this absorber. CONSTITUTION:A light source lamp 1 is stored in a housing 11 and is driven and lit by a power source 3 stored in the housing 11. Its light is converged by a reflective mirror 2 and is made incident on a fiber unit whose input side is fixed to the housing 11. Both end faces and the outside face of a transparent quartz column 6 in the incidence part of the fiber unit are polished, and an aluminium reflective layer 7 is formed on the outside face. A stainless cylinder 5 used as a heat sink is mechanically and thermally connected to the housing 11. The reflective layer 7 is fixed into the cylinder 5 by an inorganic adhesive 8, and the front end of a quartz bundle fiber 4 is inserted and fixed in the cylinder 5. The fiber 4 is inserted to a stainless pipe, and its front end part is fixed in the cylinder 5 by an inorganic adhesive.
