<p>PURPOSE:To allow a power generating apparatus to perform the power generation without external power source, by axially connecting a synchronous generator to a power generating apparatus body composed of a prime mover and an induction generator. CONSTITUTION:A generating apparatus body is composed of a prime mover 1 and an induction generator 2 axially connected to a rotating shaft on one side of a prime mover 1. To the other side of the rotating shaft of the prime mover 1 in this generating apparatus body a synchronous generator 3 of small capacity is axially connected through a torque converter 4. Based on the rotating speed signal from a rotating speed detector 3, a rotating speed control uint 6 controls the torque converter 4 so that the output voltage frequency of a synchronous generator 3 may be the predetermined frequency. On the other, the output circuit of the induction generator 2 and that of the synchronous generator 3 are electrically connected by an electric conductor 7 and led to a common electric output terminal 8.</p> |
