PURPOSE:To perform uniform coating efficiently in a small installation area without deteriorating working environment, by automatically performing the spraying, drying and baking of paint in definite closed space. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus is brought to a posture inclined upwardly as shown by a solid line and articles (a) to be painted such as rivets are received in a rotary barrel 5 and preheated while the barrel 5 is rotated. Next, coat is sprayed to the articles (a) to be coated, which are repeatedly scooped up and allowed to fall by blades 30 with the rotation of the barrel 5, at the time of falling in the space of the barrel 5 from the nozzle 35a of a spray gun 35 to perform coating. Contaminated air at the time of painting is discharged by an exhaust fan to be treated with a separate device. After the completion of coating, the rotation of the barrel 5 is stopped and the articles (a) to be coated are heated by a heater 4 to bake the film on each article. Subsequently, the coated articles are cooled to temp. almost equal to that at the time of preheating while the barrel 5 is rotated and a reversal stand 2 is inclined forwardly to take out products. |
