PURPOSE:To attain more excellent reception by providing a noise detector, a trigger circuit, an antenna switch and a trigger detection circuit. CONSTITUTION:If a 1st antenna 1 is affected by a noise, the noise detector 10 generates a noise detection output. With the noise detection output satisfying a prescribed condition to be a sufficiently large noise, a trigger pulse is outputted from the trigger circuit 11. In inverting a T flip-flop 12 by the pulse, an antenna switching circuit 3 is operated to select an antenna 2 from the antenna 1 for the reception. If the two antennas, however, receive the effect of noise simultaneously, since the noise is not eliminated by the changeover of the antennas, the output of a counter 15 is utilized in such case to reduce the noise in a demodulated sound output.
