PURPOSE:To obtain a medium whose broken chips are not scattered by adhering a film water than the base area to one laminated face of both the bases via an adhesives, cutting them in the same size as soon as they are pressed and adhered so as to be pressed onto the lamination face of the other base. CONSTITUTION:A hot melt adhesives 3 is applied to the film 4 wider than the area of the base 1 and the recording layer 2 of magnetic thin film formed on the base 1, the film 4 is adhered onto the recording layer 2 and cut off into the same size as the base 1 by pressing jigs (a), (b) in common use for cutting while being provided with a blade. Then an adhesive 3' is applied to the film 4 and the lamination face of the other base whose film forming is finished together with the recording layer 2', the result is set between the jigs (a), (b) and pressed to adhere the film 4 onto the recording layer 2' via the adhesives 3' and the disk medium for both side type is obtained, where the film 4 is sandwiched as an intermediate layer.
