PURPOSE:To improve an electric charge characteristic and to intensify fixability by incorporating magnetic fluid into a porous material to form a core material and coating the core material with a resin, thereby forming a capsule toner. CONSTITUTION:Molecular sieves powder, light calcium carbonate, etc., are used as the porous material. Fluid prepd. by dispersing a magnetic material into a liquid dispersing agent (for example, liquid paraffin, polybutene, etc.) to a colloid state is used for the magnetic fluid. Ultrafine powder of ferrite or magnetite is used for the magnetic material. The magnetic fluid is penetrated into the porous material to form the core material. A polymerizable monomer (for example, styrene, etc.) is polymerized on the core material to form the capsule toner. Since the core material formed by incorporating the magnetic fluid into the porous material is capsulated by the resin, the substantial fixing strength is obtd. and the beautiful image quality is obtd. |
