PURPOSE:To set a magnification of the highest using frequency through a leading by providing a means for storing the designated number of the designated magnification and a means for setting the magnification of the most designated number. CONSTITUTION:In a control circuit 13, every time when a printing is performed, the using magnification and the number of the printings every magnification are stored in the prescribed area of a RAM and the magnification of the highest using frequency can be set to a magnification setting circuit 12 as a standard magnification (successively used magnification) from the number of the printings. Picture information obtained by a picture reading circuit 11 is supplied to a picture processing circuit 14 as a picture signal. When a magnification designating signal is inputted from a keyboard 3 in the control circuit 13, a magnification instruction signal is supplied to the picture processing circuit 14 so as to process the picture by the designated magnification and a print is outputted from a printer 2 according to the magnification by the picture processing circuit 14.
