PURPOSE:To obtaing clear printing with thick density by using magnetic toner whose surface is coated with a photoconductive layer having spectral sensitivity different from that of a photoconductive drum and using normal paper having both developing and transferring properties. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a core material 17 consisting of ordinary magnetic toner is coated with a photoconductive layer 18. Although a Se coat is used as the photoconductive layer of the photoconductive drum 7 in many cases, a photoconductive material for shifting the photosensitivity of toner from that of Se is used in such case and a photodiode with 780nm oscillation wavelength, e.g., is used as a light source 2, so that no influence is exterted upon the formation of an electrostatic latent image. Thus, the toner can be kept at a low resistance state by irradiating a developing part 3 by the light source 2 and executing development in a bright state, and on the other hand, the toner can be kept at a high resistance state by executing transfer in a dark state. Thus, excellent development and transfer can be attained. |
