摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition for a ceramics substrate having a low dielectric constant and capable of being baked at a low temp. by specifying the composition of glass powder contg. SiO2, B2O3, Al2O3, and RO (R is an alkaline-earth metal) in a specified ratio and the composition of cordierite powder. CONSTITUTION:Glass powder contg. 30-50wt%, preferably 30-45%, SiO2, 30-50%, preferably 30-40%, B2O3, 5-15%, preferably 5-12%, Al2O3, and 5-25% RO is prepared. A composition for a glass ceramics substrate is obtained by mixing 40-60% of the glass powder as the inorg. component and 40-60% cordierite powder. A dense sintered body without foaming is obtained by sintering the composition at low temps. of about 800-900 deg.C. The sintered body as a low dielectric constant, and is used for forming a highly reliable element having a high signal transmitting velocity with less deterioration due to humidity.
