PURPOSE:To improve a feeling of driving comfortableness, by determining a damping constant so as to cause a distribution value of the damping constant in both front and rear wheels to become equal to a distribution ratio of load in these front and rear wheels, and controlling a damping constant variable shock absorber, in case of the above-captioned controller for vehicle use. CONSTITUTION:Each detection signal of a load sensor 12 and a car speed sensor 13 is inputted into a microcomputer 16 which operates loads Wf and Wr and a load distribution ratio P=Wf/Wr of both front and rear wheels on the basis of the detected load 12 when a car speed 13 is less than the specified value Vref. In addition, damping constants Cf and Cr of these front and rear wheels are determined so as to cause a distribution ratio Cf/Cr of each damping con stant of these front and rear wheels to become equal to the load distribution ratio P. And, a digital signal conformed to these damping constants Cf and Cr is outputted out of an interface circuit 21, and the damping constant of a damping force variable shock absorber is controlled via a servo pump 20. With this constitution, vertical vibration and pitch vibration are restrained from occurring, thus a feeling of driving comfortableness is improvable. |
