PURPOSE:To suppress the influences of vibration and improve durability by forming a recessed part and a projection inspecting surface in the shift direction onto a transfer body which transfers according to the variation of the valve opening degree and detecting the projection detection surface by the approach switches in noncontact form. CONSTITUTION:A valve rod 13 is allowed to penetrate in slidable ways in the vertical direction into a valve body 10 and an oil cylinder 11, and a large diameter part 13a and a small diameter part 13b as the projection inspecting surfaces are formed onto the valve rod 13, and approach switches 16 and 19 in noncontact type are installed in the vicinity of the valve rod 13. Therefore, in comparison with the valve opening degree detecting device which uses a limit switch consisting of mechanical movable parts in the conventional, the captioned device is strong for vibration, and durability can be improved markedly.
