PURPOSE:To eliminate clogging by a method wherein, the main body of an electroformed mold, equipped with a multitude of through holes, is attached detachably by a reinforcing mold and the main body of the electroformed mold is removed once from the reinforcing mold to clean the main body from both sides of the molding surface and the rear surface thereof in case clogging is caused due to the adhesion of dust or the like to the through holes. CONSTITUTION:The electroformed mold 1 is constituted of the main body 2 of the electroformed mold, equipped with a multitude of through holes, and accessories which are attached detachably to a reinforcing mold 3. The reinforcing mold 3 is constituted of a rectangular frame body 15, a reinforcing rob 16, attached detachably to the inside of the frame body 15 and extended transversely, and a bottom plate 17, attached detachably to the bottom of the frame body 15. When the electroformed mold 1 is used to effect the vacuum molding of a vinyl chloride resin sheet 23, from which the skin of a lid for a console box for motorcar is prepared, and clogging is caused due to the adhesion of dust or the like to the through holes 6, the main body 2 of the mold or the like are removed from the reinforcing mold 3 and, further, a reticulated body 13, a cotton type body 12 and a temperature regulating tube 11 are removed, thereafter, only the main body 2 of the mold is dipped into solvent to wash it whereby clogging may by eliminated effectively.
