PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of an ultrasonic vibrator and to reduce the labor for the assembling operation by arranging a multi-layered printed board on respective piezoelectric bodies of the array type ultrasonic vibrator, and branching guide electrodes of the multilayered printed board and connecting them to plural signal circuit boards. CONSTITUTION:Many piezoelectric bodies 1 are arrayed in a matrix to constitute the vibrator. Then, the respective piezoelectric bodies 1 are adhered electrically to the multilayered printed board 2. This multilayered printed board 1 is branched and connected to the plural signal boards 3 by the guide electrodes. For example, the piezoelectric bodies 1 are grouped longitudinally and laterally and the respective groups are led to signal processing circuit boards 3a-3h through the guide electrodes. Further, multi-plexers 31 are provided to the respective boards 3a-3h and the guide electrodes are switched with a control signal to lead signals out of the individual piezoelectric bodies 1. Thus, the guide electrodes of the multilayered printed boards are branched and connected to the plural signal processing circuit boards, so operations wherein lead wires are soldered to the individual piezoelectric groups to lead the electrode out can be omitted, thereby facilitating the assembling operation.
