PURPOSE:To carry out the operations of press and caulking with an identical drive source by providing a interval regulating member for transmitting a press force from a moving means to a press head between a caulking head and the press head. CONSTITUTION:An upper caulking head 2 provided with a plurality of upper caulking punches 1 is provided vertically movably and depressively through an upper moving means 3. Below said head 2 is provided a press head 5 provided with a press punch 4 to be horizontally back and forth moved between said head 2 and a workpiece 7 by a transfer means. The upper caulking punch 1 does not abut against the upper end of the press punch 4 in the press operation and an interval regulating member 8 for transmitting a press force from the upper moving means 3 is provided between the upper caulking head 2 and the press head 5. Thus, the upper caulking head 2 and the press head 5 are operated by the upper moving means 3 of identical drive source in the identical operation position.
