PURPOSE:To obtain an air conditioner capable of intermittently carrying out a stable operation by controlling the air flow rate of a blower in accordance with the temperature of air flowing into an evaporator. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of air flowing into an evaporator 7 is lowered to a value lower than a first predetermined temperature, a temperature adjustor 14 detects it, and its contact 14b is opened and a coil 9a0 is excited to open a solenoid valve 9a. For this reason, a coolant is condensed at both condensers 4 and 8. A blower 3 is operated so that an indoor air temperature becomes constant. When the heat radiation amount of the condenser 4 becomes large and the room temperature becomes lower than a second predetermined temperature, the contact 15b of a temperature detector 15 is opened, and the blower 3 is stopped. When the temperature of air flowing into the evaporator 7 becomes higher than the second predetermined temperature, the contact 15b of the temperature adjustor 15 is closed. Thus, (a) contact 105a of an electromagnetic contactor 105 is closed, and the air flow rate of the blower 3 is controlled so that the temperature of air flowing into the evaporator 7 becomes constant. Since the air flow rate of the blower 3 of the condenser 4 is controlled by the temperature of air flowing into the evaporator 7, the variation in the room temperature is reduced.
