PURPOSE:To improve CN ratio of a luminance signal and CN ratio of a sound signal by using an amorphous head for recording/reproducing a luminance signal and using a Sendust head for recording/reproducing A sound signal and a frequency-multiplexed color signal. CONSTITUTION:A luminance signal is recorded and reproduced by the amorphous head 1. A color signal and a sound signal are recorded and reprodeced by the Sendust head 9. Since the amorphous head 1 excellent in short wavelength characteristics is used for recording and reproducing the luminance signal and the Sendust head 9 excellent in long wavelength characteristics is used for recording and reproducing the color signal and the sound signal, the CN ratio of the luminance signal and the CN ratio of the sound signal can be improved.
