PURPOSE:To eliminate the needs for rust-preventing treatment for strands and also for the use of sheath material by a method in which a pair of couplers are set in a mutually facing manner and high-strength, corrosion-resistant, and flexible strands are engaged with the arms of the couplers to assemble an anchor. CONSTITUTION:A pair of couplers 2 and 3 are set in a mutually facing manner, and high-strength, corrosion-resistant, and flexible strands 1 of small-diameter resin-derived carbon fiber, etc., not metal are engaged with the arms of the couplers 2 and 3 with several turns to assemble an anchor. The anchor is penetrated into an anchor hole 4 and grout 5 is injected into the hole 4 to fix the tip of the anchor to the natural ground. After the grout 5 hardens, bolts 22 are thrust through a distribution plate 6, and the plate 6 is attached to the inlet of the hole 4 and screwed with nuts 23 in such a way as to introduce a given tension force into the strand 1. The bolt 22 is then fixed with the nuts 23.
