PURPOSE:To prevent a malfunction due to a transfer error easy to generate immediately after the start of operation under a low temperature environment by making use of the temperature characteristic of a 'Permalloy(R)' resistors resistor constituted in a magnetic bubble memory chip, and thereby providing a constant access period in which no transfer action is included until a time when the chip reaches its temperature of stability. CONSTITUTION:The permalloy resistors 7-9 of resistance value rd1-rd3 forming a control circuit to control temperature which is a detection parameter, are constituted on one same chip. In case a temperature variation occurrs inside the chip, the voltage drop over the dummy resistor rd3 caused by the said temperature variation controls a comparator part 10, for instance, controls a threshold level. And thus the threshold level is set approximately at the intermediate point between '1' output and '0' output. A closed loop corresponds to a dummy access period during which time the chip is pre-heated, and whether the temperature of stability is reached or not is judged by means of the voltage differential of the dummy resistor 9 of the value rd4. After said pre-heating, and the temperature is detected with the 'Permalloy resistors 7-9, the chip is controlled to execute a normal read/write action.
