PURPOSE:To permit direct load to be applied to the tip of a pile by a method in which a pile pit is excavated in the ground, a pressure generator is set on the bottom of the pit, concrete is placed into the pit and hardened, and the pressure generator is driven to press from the ground's surface. CONSTITUTION:A bag 4 as a pressure generator is set in a pile pit 3 excavated in the ground 1, and the innertube 5 of a double tube for measuring the displaced amount of the ground 1 after completion of the pit 2 is set in the ground 1 on the tip of the pile and the outer tube 6 is set in the portion to be a pile. A displacement meter to measure displacing amount between the inner and outer tubes 5 and 6 is set on the ground's surface. A pipe 7 through which air is passed is connected to the bag 4 and concrete 8 is placed on the bag 4 and hardened, and air is sent under pressure from the pipe 7 to a test pile 9 to generate a pressure P toward the ground and a pressure Q to push up the pile 9. Since the frictional force on the peripheral face can be removed out thereby, loads on the tip of the pile can be equalized with test load being applied.
