PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having improved spectral absorbing characteristics, fastness to light and coloring property by incorporating a specific coupler, a polymer coupler derivated from the coupler, and an another specific coupler to at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one layer of silver halide emulsion layers contains one kind of the coupler shown by formulas I-III, and/or the polymer coupler derivated from said coupler and the coupler shown by formula IV. In formulas I-III, Za-Zc are each a non-metallic atom group necessary for forming a nitrogen contg. heterocyclic ring, Xa-Xc are each a group capable of releasing by reacting with hydrogen atom, etc., Ra-Rg are each hydrogen atom, etc. In formula IV, Ar is aryl group, R1 is hydrogen atom, etc., R2 is a substituent, Y is a substituent capable of releasing by reacting with hydrogen atom, etc., W is -NH-group, etc., (m) is an integer of 0-2. The coupler is preferably incorporated to the titled material in an amount of 1X10<-2>-8X10<-1>mol per 1mol of silver halide. |
