The invention relates to a cage for a thrust roller bearing, this cage being formed by a series of segments 9 each surrounding one roller, and provided with extensions which project into guidance grooves or between two rings of the bearing. By virtue of slits 12 provided on projections situated on the small bars, the segments have a certain elasticity provided that the roller does not move too far away from its normal orientation, but for a separation greater than a chosen amount, the slits close and stiffen the assembly. <IMAGE> |
