The subject of the invention relates to the combination of elements intended to produce a duct extension, in situ, from a Post-and- Telecommunication-Company coverplate consisting of existing conduits emerging flush from a wall. The device is composed of a split sleeve 1 installed inside the supply duct and supporting a rigid 2 or flexible 21 extender composed of two shells 22 and 23 which can be assembled and solidly connected together. A split sleeve 3, installed at the other end of this extender, supports an associated and appropriate gland 4. The main application is connected with the start of the production of the seal between a duct and an installed cable. <IMAGE>
