PURPOSE:To obtain a permanent magnet which has realized increase of coersive force and improvement of temperature characteristics and has stable characteristic by mixing gallium and titanium into a permanent magnet as an alloy element and then mixing the specified amount of gallium to the Fe rich phase and the specified amount of titanium to the B rich phase. CONSTITUTION:A 3-phase structure of a permanent magnet is composed of a tetragonal ferromagnetic Fe rich phase, tetragonal nonmagnetic B rich phase and cubic nonmagnetic R rich phase of the sintered material mainly composed of Fe of the rare earth element R including yttrium and alloy including boron. As alloy components gallium and titanium are contained, at least 70 we% or more of gallium are contained in the Fe rich phase and at least 70 wt% or more of titanium is contained in the B rich phase. The coersive force of permanent magnet is increased, temperature characteristics are improved and thereby a permanent magnet having stable characteristics can be manufactured. |
