PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the occurence of buckling creases of a coil plate and to make the whole of a welded pipe producing device compact by providing a temperature adjusting element to heat or cool said plate to rollers for producing a welded pipe to roll the surface of the coil plate. CONSTITUTION:In a fin pass zone of the welded pipe producing device, after the coil plate 11 is formed to nearly complete roundness by the rollers 12-15 for producing the welded pipe, both edge parts 22 and 22 of the coil plate 11 are welded by a welding means (omitted in figure) to obtain the welded pipe. Many grooves 17 are provided at equal intervals in a peripheral direction to the outside peripheral surface of main bodies of the rolling rollers 12, 13 and 14 to roll a side part and the lower surface of the coil plate 11 and induction coils 16 are buried therein respectively in the aforementioned welded pipe producing device. On the other hand, nozzles 24 for cooling are provided at equal intervals to both sides of a flange part 23 of the rollers 15 corresponding to both the edge parts 22. Both edge parts 22 are cooled by blowing air, etc., from the aforementioned nozzles 24 and the other part 26 other than both the edge parts 22 is heated by the induction coils 16 to moderate the compressive stress while forming the coil plate 11 by the aforementioned rollers 12-15.
