PURPOSE:To reduce effect of circumstantial humidity and to enhance durability by incorporating a positive electrification controller in a specified thermoplastic polyester resin having at least one kind of trivalent or higher polyvalent polyfunctional compound as structural units. CONSTITUTION:The thermoplastic polyester resin having at least one kind of trivalent or higher valent polyfunctional compound as the structural units, and an acid value of <=5mgKOH/g, and a hydroxyl value of <=60mgKOH/g contains the positive electrification controller. As the polyol monomers to be used for constituting the polyester, ethylene glycol as well as trivalent and higher polyvalent monomers are enumerated. As the polybasic acid monomers to be used, a combination of those containing the monomer represented by the formula shown on the right (n being 3 or 4 and R being 1-18C alkyl, alkenyl, or aryl), preferably, in an amount of 2-50mol% of the total structural acid units, thus permitting image stability to be ensured even under high temperature and high humidity and under low temperature and low humidity. |
