PURPOSE:To correct the phase shift even though the cycle of the reproduction signal given from an information recorder is varied in a reproduction mode, by performing the recording with addition of gaps for each scan line of the picture information. CONSTITUTION:The gaps are provided among pieces of picture information with at least >=1 sector to separate these picture information. When an access is given to a designated track or sector position, a picture head detection signal is delivered from a control circuit to start detection of a line synchronizing code at the picture head position. In this case, the jitter is produced in the timing to deliver the picture head detection signal. This jitter is set within a range that can sufficiently cover the preamble length as well as a gap between two pieces of information. The picture head detection signal is delivered with synchronism of the picture head position and furthermore a line synchronizing code is detected. This is possible owing to a fact that the line synchronizing detection is not performed with the gap between picture information and the preamble data. |
