PURPOSE:To prevent an image from deteriorating due to the floating of an original, by eliminating the floating by pressing the original on a read plane, varying a lens corresponding to a floating quantity, and always setting a depth between an original plane and an image sensor within the depth of field to be photographed of an optical system. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 7 whose tip part is bent lower than a reference plane A is loaded on the bottom part of a base frame 6. At the time of placing a device on an original 5, the tip part of the sheet 7 presses the surface of the original 5 by its elastic force. Therefore, the read plane of the original 5 is kept within the depth of field to be photographed of the optical system, thereby, deterioration in the image can be prevented from occurring.
