PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of an address control circuit by defining a machine word instruction as plural internal instructions having memory operands and holding successively the addresses of memory operands of those internal instructions with shift of the address holding area for memory operands so far held. CONSTITUTION:The address sent from an internal instruction register 5 and held by the 1st address register 23 is moved to the 2nd address register 25 and held there when a new address is sent to the register 23 from the register 5. Thus it is not required to select an address register to hold the address delivered from the register 5. Therefore no circuit is needed for selection.
