PURPOSE:To accurately control the speed of a driven member by controlling to drive a motor on the basis of a reading result of a mark attached to the member driven by the motor. CONSTITUTION:A transfer belt 43 is extended between a drive roller 41 and a guide roller 42. Extrafine marks 51 are attached at a predetermined interval to the peripheral side edge of the belt 43. Mark reading means 52 is disposed under the belt 43. A controller 55 controls to drive a DC servo motor 56 for driving the roller 41 in response to the output signal of the means 52. Thus, the speed of the belt can be accurately controlled. |
