Racemic or resolved derivatives of trans 4-amino benz(c,d) indol-5-ol, as well as their addition salts with mineral or organic acids, answering to the general formula (I) : see diagramm : EP0091328,P17,F1 in which R1 represents : a hydrogen atom ; a linear or branched alkyl radical containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, possibly substituted by one or more halogen atoms, by one or more hydroxy radicals or by a phenyl or phenoxy radical possibly substituted on the phenyl nucleus by one or more halogen atoms or by one or more hydroxy, methyl or methoxy radicals, a cycloalkyl radical containing from 3 to 7 carbon atoms, a cycloalkylalkyl radical containing from 4 to 7 carbon atoms, or an alkenyl or alkynyl radical containing from 3 to 6 carbon atoms, the dotted line at 2-2a represents a possible second carbon-carbon bond and R represents a hydrogen atom. |
