PURPOSE:To make positioning for various formed strip materials accurate enough, by installing a guide roller in a position corresponding to plural width shifting devices installed in one side of a roller conveyor conveying these long- sized strip materials. CONSTITUTION:Plural width shifting cylinders 3 and a pressing plate 4 are installed in one side of a roller conveyer 2 conveying a long-sized strip material C at a right angle to a paper surface. A vertically movable supporter 15 and a guide roller 9 are installed in a position corresponding to the pressing plate 4. This guide roller 9 contacts or separates perpendicular to or from the strip material C by a rod 8 being expanded or contracted by the cylinder. When the strip material C is an angled one, the pressing plate 4 is projected, pushing the strip material C away, one piece of the strip material is dropped on the supporter 15, while the guide roller 9 is advanced forward, and it is held in between with an end of a feed roller 2. Bulb flat steel is also held in between likewise, and a flat plate is held between the pressing plate 4 and the guide roller 9 in keeping its attitude intact. With this constitution, various formed strip materials are surely held in between for conveyance, and accurately positioned at the cutting position.
