PURPOSE:To make it possible to improve the heat resistance of an ultrasoft polyurethane, by reacting a polyol with a polyisocyanate in the presence of a lead salt of an organic acid and a molecular sieve and curing the product. CONSTITUTION:This ultrasoft polyurethane elastomer is obtained by reacting a polyol with a polyisocyanate in the presence of a lead salt of an organic acid and a molecular sieve and curing the product. Examples of said salts of organic acids include lead salts of fatty acids, such as lead octanoate and lead oleate, and lead naphthenate. Said lead salt of an organic acid and the molecular sieve are used in amounts of about 0.01-0.5pt.wt and about 1-15pts. wt. per 100pts.wt. polyol, respectively.
